i'll have to post my videos tonight when i get home from work. i didn't have time today b/c of my two jobs to do 1 lift in the am and the 2nd in the pm, so i spaced them out as far as i could. did the snatch around 9:30 and the c&j around 12:30.
snatch - went for new pr of #113. missed, but was soooo close. weight crashed on top of me at bottom of snatch. (current pr is #105.)
c&j - lots of technique issues w/my jerk seeing that my clean is @ 175# and my jerk is only at 155#. hip was hurting and i could totally feel it during the clean. went for 155# and missed on the jerk. realized my back leg was straight and decided to bend it at the last min... no bueno. video is hilarious. will post tonight.
I only got 165 for snatch and 205 for C+J. I think it's gonna take longer than expected to get back in shape. I got 170 overhead twice and couldn't stabilize. I overhead squatted 185 just to see if it was my legs or not. Cleans were fine no issues all the way. My jerk started getting sketch at 198. Stopped at 205 because I had to press it out. I need some shoulder strength!
very fugly C&J. Cleaned 250lbs with left hand on the bar right hand completely off the bar. Decided to go with it stood up with bar on my shoulder re-griped then jerked that fugly MoFo. decided i had enough!!So C&J 250lbs
snatch was 85kg, got 90kg up to my head and could not drop. off my pr but I will take it. C&J was 106kg. stood up with 110kg twice but could not time the bounce right. both are off a little from PRs but this is first time I have gone heavy with either in up to 5 months with hip issues. all in all a good day.
Heading out to my fob today so only time for the snatch. 165lb, which is my PR. I'm sure my form sucks, I can OHS 225lb, what percentage of that should I be able to snatch?
Snatch from Saturday, look for the mistake on the last one...heels. CJ was weak, going to challenge myself to not snatching all week.
